How To Add a Parent or Tutor

With Blutick you can add one or more parents or tutors to your account so they can see how you are getting on.

You will need to ask your parent/tutor for their unique code, just like you do to join a class.

They can find this by following the steps detailed here – or scroll down this article for a quick overview.

How do I enter the code for my parent or tutor?

Once you have the code (it will be 4 or 5 letters long) enter it at Your Classes, under the “Add a parent/tutor” tab:

You’ll then be given the option to add that person as a parent/tutor.

Done! Your parent/tutor can now view your progress.

 

How does my parent/tutor get their code?

Your parent/tutor will need to create a Blutick account by following the steps in our Getting Started guide.

Then they should use the sidebar to go to Your Learners.

Then click the “Add a Learner” tab to see the unique code.

How can my parent/tutor tell that I’ve entered the code correctly?

Your parent/tutor will see your account listed on their Home page and under “Your Learners“.
