Use a template to customise a Course
Go to Create a Course and choose the appropriate course template for you from the dropdown list.
Use the toggles to switch your Course to “Live”, and then “Scheduled”. Enter the start date for when you’d like the course to begin and choose which days of the week you’d like tasks set.
Then check/uncheck the “send email to students” box as required.
Under “Course Content” you can customise the course to your requirements. The planned tasks are shown in blue boxes with the date in the top left corner.
Note: the date shown on each box is the start date for that topic, and the day on which that task should be completed. The end date for any topic is the start date of the next. Dates are only displayed for scheduled courses.
Drag the boxes to reorder topics, and use the + buttons to add extra topics, or add gaps, eg. for holidays or school trips. Use the “x” in the top-right corner of a box to remove it.
When you’ve finished, remember to click the green “Update Course” button at the bottom of the page!
Save your customised Course Template
Save your customised course to use again or share with other teachers in your school.
Just click the green “Create Course Template” button at the top of the page. Then choose a name, and click “Create Template”.
